CEYS Summer 2025

Children from the local area have finished their RYA Stage 3 sailing course, delivered by Buffy Hewitt and her team of instructors at Camel Sailing School. Very windy weather caused a couple of sessions to be cancelled so the children have finished their course slightly later in the year, during the first week of August. Perfect sailing conditions as seen in these photos will hopefully inspire them to continue their sailing journey, either at the sailing school or at the sailing club. Students from Wadebridge Secondary and St Minver Primary enjoyed perfect conditions for a first sail at the taster day with Camel Sailing School. Here they are being towed out to find some wind around the corner downriver. Lessons started on May 10th and will run every other week on neep tides. Fingers crossed for sunny breezes!
