We held another fantastic day of open gardens around Rock with a cream tea near the beach.  The most glorious weather no doubt helped increase the number of tickets sold so it was a very successful afternoon.  Visitors were so appreciative and complementary about the gardens they visited and the cream teas they devoured.  Thanks to all who opened their gardens, helped put up gazebos, sell tickets, organise the raffle and serve the teas.  We delighted that we have raised over £2000!

This year's lessons have taken place in amazing sunny weather with light winds; perfect conditions in which to learn.  Here, St Minver school children were being towed back (heading into wind) at the end of their session.

Ideal conditions last Saturday 13th May with gentle breezes and sunshine; a great opportunity for sailing upriver towards Gentle Jane and practising gybing, tacking and capsize drills, the latter being very popular!
